This training will provide a MTSS approach for developing a comprehensive school safety framework that accounts for both psychological and physical safety throughout K-12 schools. Focused sections will include: school culture and climate; informed best practices in threat assessment and management; and violence protection, mitigation, response and recovery. Equity-focused and developmentally appropriate guidelines will be highlighted. This training will address considerations for multidisciplinary teams related to recent CA legislation (SB906), information sharing, and grant/funding opportunities.

Fee is $25 for NECASP (or other CASP affiliate) members, $50 for non-members, and $10 for students or retirees. CEUs are available for an additional $20 processing fee.
